I don't understand why people are so concerned over the "ethics" of cloning and stem-cell research. Many say that it's simply morally wrong. But what about the ethics of savings people's lives? If we can restore a paraplegic person's ability to walk, but decide not to because the technology behind it is "morally wrong", does that REALLY make us ethical? And what about those who are dying and in desperate need of an organ transplant? Should we deny them the right to live, simply because the technology is "morally wrong"? In my opinion, we would be wrong to deny them their right to live a healthy life. If we have the ability to help them, we should. It would only be morally wrong if we took another life in the process of helping them. Now, as long as we're not cloning entire human beings to harvest them for parts, it wouldn't be wrong, because no lives will be lost. If we can clone individual body parts, I would see nothing wrong with it.
